For florists and gift shops
Flowers and gifts ordered on WhatsApp, delivered on the day.
With Sellly, customers choose a bouquet, a plant or a hamper in your WhatsApp chat, pick the day it should arrive, tell you who it’s for and what the card should say, and pay by UPI. Personalised gifts reach you as requests, with the words to print, for you to price.
Where the chats get stuck, and what changes
- “Can it reach her on Friday?”
- The date, the address and who it’s for go back and forth, and it’s going to someone else.
- With Sellly: Customers pick the delivery date and give the recipient’s name and address at checkout.
- “Write Happy birthday Ma on the card”
- A line in the middle of a chat, missed while you tie the bouquet.
- With Sellly: The card message is part of the order, on your list beside the delivery date.
- Personalised mugs and frames
- The name to print, the photo and the deadline, spread across messages.
- With Sellly: A personalised gift is a request with the words to print and a photo, and you send a price before you start.
- One date, every order
- Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day bring the year’s orders in a few days.
- With Sellly: Stock counts stop orders when a bouquet sells out, and one switch pauses new orders when you’re full.
How it works
- A customer messages youFrom your number, your Instagram bio or a QR code at the counter. Your bouquets, plants and hampers come back by category.
- They choose, and pick a dayEach item with its sizes and prices, and the date it should arrive.
- They say who it’s forThe recipient’s name and address, and the message for the card.
- They payBy UPI or bank transfer, straight to you, or cash if you allow it.
- You deliver on the dayYour list shows each order with its date, its recipient and its card. The customer is told when it’s out and when it’s delivered.
- They come back for the next occasionTheir last order is one tap away, and their record keeps every order they’ve placed with you.
What’s ready when you sign up
Sellly sets these up from the kind of business you choose. You can change every one of them.
- A shop to start from
- Sample categories (Bouquets, Plants, Gifts), marked as samples until you change them.
- Delivery dates and gift details
- Customers choose the day, name the recipient and write the card message at checkout.
- Delivery and pickup
- Both on for flowers, so customers can collect a bouquet themselves.
- Personalised gifts
- Choose “Gifts & personalisation” instead, and “Personalise a gift” asks what to print, takes a photo and needs at least 3 days’ notice, with delivery and payment first.
- A menu that matches
- Your Sellly menu: Orders, Products, Customers, Reports.
The rules for your business
Selling flowers, plants or gifts needs no central licence in India. If your hampers include food you make or pack, such as cookies, chocolates or sweets, that part is a food business and needs FSSAI registration: see selling food from home in India. Your state or municipality may ask for a shop registration or trade licence if you trade from premises.
Ready for the big days
- Count stock on what you can make
- Each bouquet sells out on its own when you’ve made your last.
- Pause when you’re full
- One switch stops new orders; the ones already placed carry on.
- Take payment first
- For orders going to someone else, switch cash on delivery off, so nobody at the door is asked to pay.

What Sellly doesn’t do
So you know before you start.
- Book delivery partners or plan routes.
- Build you a website. You get a store page that opens the chat, at a Sellly address.
- Hold or move your money. Customers pay you directly.
- Send offers or occasion reminders to your customer list.
Questions
Can the customer choose the delivery date?
Yes. They pick it at checkout, and it’s on the order on your list.
Can they send it to someone else?
Yes. They give the recipient’s name and address and a message for the card.
Can I take orders for personalised gifts?
Yes. Customers say what to print and can send a photo; you send a price, and they accept and pay in the chat.
Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business app?
Not on the same number yet. Until you can connect it yourself through Facebook, a number on Sellly can’t stay in the WhatsApp Business app at the same time: use a new number, or move your current one over.
