Sellly vs Interakt, WATI and AiSensy: messaging tools, or an order desk?
Interakt, WATI and AiSensy are WhatsApp Business Platform providers built for messaging: broadcasts to customers who agreed to get them, a shared inbox for a team, chatbots you design, and connections to stores like Shopify. Sellly is built for the transaction: a customer’s order, booking, quote or plan arrives complete, priced and paid, without you designing a bot. If you want to message many customers and run campaigns, they fit. If you want orders taken and payments checked in the chat, Sellly fits.

Sellly is strong at

- Payments checked: each UPI payment waits as To verify, a reference already used for another order is caught, and online payments confirm on their own.
- An order list that keeps where each order is apart from whether it’s paid, and lets you act on it from WhatsApp.

What it costs
List prices found on 2 Oct 2026, each before GST and Meta’s message charges. Prices and plans change: check each company’s pricing page.
| Platform | Starting plan | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| AiSensy | Basic, ₹1,500 a month (a free plan also listed) | Monthly or yearly |
| Interakt | Starter, ₹3,499 a quarter | Quarterly or yearly |
| WATI | Growth, about ₹2,499 a month | Monthly or yearly |
| Sellly | ₹349 a month, including GST | Monthly |
On every platform, Meta charges for WhatsApp messages. From 1 Oct 2026 in India, each number gets 1,000 free service messages a month, then ₹0.115 plus GST each; marketing templates cost more. Some platforms list their own per-message rates above Meta’s; Sellly adds nothing, and Meta bills your WhatsApp account directly. The WhatsApp pricing calculator works out Meta’s part for your numbers.
What Sellly doesn’t do
- No broadcasts, campaigns or offers to your customer list. Sellly only sends what a customer asked for.
- No chatbot builder: you change the wording and the questions, not the flow.
- Few connections to other software: Razorpay, Meta’s catalogue, and spreadsheets.
- No tools for Click to WhatsApp ads.
Questions
Do I need a provider to use the WhatsApp Business Platform?
Almost every business uses one. Interakt, WATI and AiSensy are providers for messaging; Sellly connects your number to the Platform for orders, bookings and payments.
Can I move my number from one of them to Sellly?
Yes. Meta lets a number move from one provider to another without changing it, and Sellly’s team will help you through the move.
Do they charge more than Meta for messages?
Some list their own per-message rates above Meta’s rate card; check each one’s pricing page. Sellly adds nothing: Meta bills your own WhatsApp account.
Can I use Sellly for broadcasts?
No. Sellly sends only what a customer asked for: their order, booking, quote or plan. If campaigns are central to how you sell, a messaging platform suits you better.
